Professional Photography Shot From The New iPhone 7 & 7 Plus

One of the biggest additions to the iPhone 7 and particularly the iPhone 7 Plus is a brand new advanced camera system which will deliver the best photos ever seen from the iPhone. The 12-megapixel cameras being “re-engineered” to add optical image stabilisation on all models, aperture down to ƒ/1.8, and a six element lens system.

It gets even better on iPhone 7 Plus models with a new dual-lens system – one being wide-angle and the other a telephoto camera lens. Working together along with software on iPhone (iOS) they bring optical zoom (x2) to the iPhone for the first time and digital zoom up to x10 plus a soon-to-be-released depth-of-field effect.iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Jet Black

So how do photos captured from these new cameras actually look like?

Well while iPhone is just now going on sale a number of professional-quality photos have already been shared to show just how capable these new cameras are. It’s also worth noting all photos have been re-sized for the web meaning the original photos will be even better then they appear especially from the updated displays on the iPhone.

Titans-Vikings Game

The first photos were shared by Apple CEO, Tim Cook which came from a Titans-Vikings Game in the US. Sports Illustrated photographer David E. Klutho took an iPhone 7 Plus to the game to capture some very impressive shots from the game.

You can view all photos captured by David Klutho during the game here.

US Open

The iPhone 7 Plus was also put to the test at the US open which saw photographer Landon Nordeman document the game by taking some impressive photos. Particularly interesting to me is how great the low-light photos look after the sun started to set during the game and how he was able to capture photos closer up using the optical zoom.2016 US Open iPhone 7 Plus

Travel Pictures by Austin Mann

The final set of photos come from Austin Mann who has captured some seriously amazing travel photos from the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus with the series of photos posted on National Geographic. Austin used the new optical zoom and put the stabiliser to the test while flying over the rain forest.

The new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus is available from September 16th.
