Beats 1 the 27/4 radio station part of Apple Music has joined with the four-piece band ‘The 1975’ for their first ever exclusive live performance which can now be watched on Apple Music. It’s the first for Beats 1, but the second major exclusive video for Apple Music after The 1989 Tour by Taylor Swift.

The 24-minute long video brings a live performance of music from their recently launched second studio album I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It [Apple Music], filmed on the rooftops overlooking the towers of downtown Los Angeles, USA during sunset to nightfall – offering quite a view!

In addition to the live performance, Zane Lowe from Beats 1 also interviewed lead-singer Matty Healy of The 1975 which can also be watched on Apple Music in a 10 minute exclusive video.

The 1975 are a four-piece band from the U.K, their new album is described as “a bold but intimate display of ’80s pop-funk confections.”
