Track Your Cardiovascular Health With Withings New Body Cardio Scale

Apple and Withings have announced the availability of a fourth generation wireless scale – The Withings Body Cardio Scale exclusively to their online stores in what is one of the most advanced scales available on the market capable of measuring a range of health-related measurements accurately all which syncs to an iPhone along with a dedicated app for the Apple Watch.

The scale which is available in both black, and white is capable of giving quite a number of accurate measurements and is the first to provide an at-home assessment of your cardiovascular health by using Pulse Wave Velocity measurements. The scale tracks the typical things you’d expect including your weight, but it also tracks body fat, water percentages, muscle and bone mass all while improving your cardiovascular health.

Within seconds of stepping on the Body Cardio, users can see a holistic view of their health with accurate measures of weight, BMI, body composition (fat, muscle, water & bone mass), standing heart rate and the highly insightful PWV.

The PWV (Pulse Wave Velocity) technology of the scale tracks the rate of blood flow which is a medically recognised heart health metric. This provides an indicator of high blood pressure, lack of arterial elasticity and general cardiovascular health.
