Tesla is well known for their range of energy efficient cars which run on 100% battery power. What you may not know, Tesla also sells a range of energy products from a home battery to solar panels which allow you to run your home on renewable energy.
You can now experience how you can power your home with renewable energy with Tesla’s Tiny House Tour which is currently hitting the road around Australia. The house, which is being driven around by Tesla’s Model X car runs on 100% renewable energy by using Tesla’s Powerwall home battery and solar panels, both of which integrate together.
Experience how you can power a home with 100% renewable energy
Powerwall is a Tesla home battery designed to integrate seamlessly with solar allowing you to self-power your home while also providing a backup system in the event of a power blackout, natural disaster and so on. It can now be purchased in Australia from the Australian Tesla website and experienced at the Tiny House event.
During the tour, the public is welcome to visit the Tesla Tiny House and get advice from the Tesla team who will be on-site during each event.
