Have you ever wondered through a city and wondered what certain buildings were all about? Who goes there? What is it like inside? Sydney Open is an annual one-day event which gives you access to buildings around Sydney, Australia allowing you the chance to unlock the many mysteries the city holds.
I love it because I can photograph the city from different perspectives, be it inside the building or outside. There is also often the chance to speak to designers, architects and more. This year was no different. I once again was able to explore the multi-million dollar redevelopment of 50 Martin Place, had a chat with the team at Grimshaw (architectural firm) and learnt plenty about the many developments occurring around Sydney – including the preparation for the new Sydney Metro.
The event also gave me the chance to capture photos using the new iPhone X for the first time.
